AKC registration of individual puppies is optional and does not affect your puppy’s eligibility for championship titles. The AKC Litter Application Form is a required document to register a litter of puppies. You will need to submit this form with your litter registration application along with an exact photo of the dam and sire, as well as three photos of each puppy.
Complete the form to request litter registration for an AKC litter. The owner of the dog must provide the name, address, and a phone number for each parent dog. We will need all of this information in order to process your litter registration paperwork. Please allow up to 2 weeks for us to complete your paperwork and mail it back to you.
The litter application form must be sent in to AKC together with the litter registration fee, proof of age for all parents and AKC fee schedule. The form is required for all litters of non-pedigree CFA, Foreign, and Dual registered kittens being registered with the AKC.
