There are no trillionaires in the world, however there is a thing called a quadrillionaire. A quadrillionaire is a person with a wealth of $1,000,000,000,000,000. There are some billionaires who have surpassed the trillion-dollar mark, with Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos reaching that status in July. He has since surpassed Bill Gates as the richest man in the world.

According to Forbes, the current world’s richest person is Jeff Bezos, who has a net worth of $112 billion. The next five richest people in the world are Bill Gates ($90 billion), Warren Buffett ($87.2 billion), Amancio Ortega ($85.3 billion), Mark Zuckerberg ($72.7 billion), and Carlos Slim Helu ($70.7 billion). So I doubt any trillionaires will appear any time soon.

As of today, there is no living human who is worth a trillion dollars. That does not mean that someone will not be worth a trillion dollars someday, but it is certainly unlikely to happen in the next few years. There are some real estate developers who have a net worth over $10 billion. At the very top of the list is Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos, who’s worth an estimated $112 billion. Bill Gates is also in the top five with $94 billion. But if you want to be a trillionaire, your wallet will never be able to hold that much money.
